Dual Chamber ICD
Mirro MRI™ DR ICD SureScan™
A dual-chamber ICD(Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator)is a device implanted to treat potentially life-threatening rapid heart rhythms (tachyarrhythmias).
It differs from a single-chamber ICD by having two leads:one in the right atrium and one in the right ventricle, allowing it to sense and pace in both chambers.
This dual-chamber functionality helps improve the device's ability to differentiate between different types of arrhythmias and can be particularly beneficial for patients with specific heart conditions.
