Capsure ™ EPI
The "Epicardial lead 4968" refers to the Medtronic CapSure Epi Model 4968,a bipolar steroid-eluting epicardial pacing lead with 3 sizes (25,35 and 60 cm).
It's used to pace and sense the heart,typically in cases where transvenous access is difficult or impossible.
These leads are commonly implanted in pediatric and congenital heart disease patients,and also in adults where vascular access is challenging.
